    I think rather than Chris Herms, who would be a great grandson, I think it is a picture of my father Herbert Herms, grandson, brother to Gus Herms and Edna Herms. Chris Herms might be the son-in-law Christian Herms who married Emma Adam but he would be the father of Gus, Edna, Herbert, etc. Chris is the son of Christian’s son Charlie Herms who went to Calif.. I never got to see my grandfather Christian but from pix I would say this is Herbert my father not his father Christian.
