Conrad's Stories

The life and times of the Conrad Adam family in Kendall County, Texas

A while back I was complaining about how I needed to go to the Bexar County Court House to look at deed records. My other option was I could order them on microfilm which I wasn’t too excited about. Mary, who belongs to the Local Family and History Archives at the Patrick Heath Public Library, said, “You don’t need to do either option, just go to this website https://gov.propertyinfo.com/tx-bexar/ and register. It’s free and you can search the Bexar County Deed Records from your home computer.” Wow! I had no idea! Since Kendall County was once part of Bexar County I was able to find land information for Joseph Bergmann, Gustav Bergmann, and Conrad Adam. It’s so easy and you can download and print the documents for your files. I’m ready for all counties to jump on the band wagon and digitize! Thank you Mary for this fabulous tip.
