    Love this picture. I put flowers for Jack, Leona and Jackie in Sisterdale earlier this month. It was always important to Leona that flowers be on the graves for Spring, Autumn and Christmas. I think it’s a wonderful tradition to teach our grandchildren.

      I definitely agree. I would often go with my grandmothers and my parents to the cemetery and place flowers on the graves. Daddy’s mother, Lillie, would tell a fact or two about some of the people buried there. I think that started me on my genealogy journey. I wish I had written down everything she said!
