The life and times of the Conrad Adam family in Kendall County, Texas

Forty years after his arrival in Texas, Conrad Adam passed away on Friday, 23 November 1894. He was 66 years old. In the Sunday Edition of the San Antonio Express dated 25 November 1894, the news from Boerne stated, ”Nov. 23. Mr. Conrad Adam who was injured some weeks ago by a wagon running over him died last night and will be buried today by the Knights of Honor, he being one of the charter members of the Knights of Honor Lodge here.” The funeral took place in the home of William Dietert (his brother-in-law) at 2:00 in the afternoon.
